SBA is connected to the international synbio community and working to develop links for our members. We welcome partnerships with other synbio societies around the world. Please contact us on sba@synbioaustralasia.org to find out more.

SynBio Alliance

The Global Alliance of SynBio Associations (SynBio Alliance), founded in 2020, has the mission to connect international associations and synbio-related organizations, recognizing their contributions to the advancement of synthetic biology around the world.

Sinergy, Singapore

Launched in September 2016, the Singapore Consortium for Synthetic Biology, SINERGY, aims to consolidate Singapore’s capabilities in synthetic biology and harness synergies across industry sectors to create a vibrant and globally connected bio-based economy in Singapore.

Efforts to foster interactions and co-development between the industry, universities and research institutes will encourage user-inspired research, augment manpower development, as well as speed up the translation of expertise in synthetic biology for industry applications. SINERGY is supported by the National Research Foundation and hosted at the National University of Singapore.

Society of Chemical and Synthetic Biology, India

The Synthetic and Chemical Biology Society (SCSB), is the country's foremost association and is devoted to the convention and knowledge sharing of synthetic biology and chemical biology. The SCSB is a formally recognized and registered society in India with its own Mission and Vision to give access to conferences, workshops, and training sessions on synthetic and chemical biology.
